Dhaka- - – As the turnover in terms of both volume and value increased, the main index at Dhaka Stock Exchange marked a rise yesterday (Saturday).

The DSE All Share Price Index gained 7.03 points or 0.62 percent to close at 614.45 points from 607.42 points on Thursday.

Of the 148 listed securities traded yesterday, 99 advanced, 31 declined, and 16 remained unchanged.

Some 3,013,598 shares and debentures worth Tk 14.23 were transacted against 2,099,793 shares valued at Tk 10.58 crore on the previous trading day.

Sinobangla (826,500), Miracle Industry (289,500), Beximco Pharma (271,800), Rose Heaven (231,000), Qyasem Drycell (152,400) and AIMS First Mutual Fund (155,000) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 58.57 billion from Tk 58.20 billion on Thursday.
